The Westinghouse 16 inch 2-in-1 dethatcher and slice aerator makes better lawn care simple: one machine, two steps, healthier roots. This corded electric lawn dethatcher gives you the benefits of both a thatch remover and lawn aerator in one tool First, use the dethatcher blade with steel tines that reach down and clear the hidden layer of built up thatch that can smother your lawn. Next, easily switch to the slice aerator blade, also called a scarifier, to cut narrow channels into compacted soil so water, air and nutrients can move deeper into the root zone with less lawn disruption than plug style aerators. Made for seasonal lawn renewal, the 15 amp motor delivers up to 3500 RPM of consistent corded power with no batteries, gas, oil or engine upkeep. The 16 inch working path helps cover ground efficiently, while 5 adjustable depth settings let you customize the use from light dethatching to deeper soil slicing. A 14.5 gallon rear collection bag captures thatch and debris to reduce cleanup, while 3 handle height settings allow comfortable use. Ideal for spring and fall lawn care, using this dethatcher and scarifier tool is also a smart prep step before overseeding by improving seed-to-soil contact so new grass can grow in thicker, fuller and more evenly.
