The front-loaded battery compartment allows you to change batteries without removing the light from your handgun. The TLR-1 is made from 6,000-series machined aircraft aluminum and features a rail-grip clamp system that attaches and detaches quickly and safely with no tools and without putting your hands in front of the muzzle.
