This StarTech.com privacy screen is a universal acrylic filter designed to fit 24-inch widescreen monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Utilizing Microlouver technology, it effectively limits the viewing angle to approximately 60 degrees, ensuring that on-screen information remains private from side views while providing a clear display for the user. The hanging-style design allows for easy mounting or removal in seconds without damaging the monitor, aided by included self-adhesive silicone bumpers that secure the screen and prevent contact with the display surface. The high-gloss finish preserves color vibrancy and clarity, complemented by a scratch- and fingerprint-resistant coating for durability. This monitor filter also blocks blue light emissions in the 380-480nm wavelength range, reducing eye strain and enhancing visual comfort during extended use. With a light transmittance of 65%, it balances privacy protection with optimal screen brightness and readability. The package includes one acrylic hanging privacy filter, a wiping cloth, six silicone bumpers, and a quick-start guide for straightforward setup.
