The Magpul® Pro 700 Chassis Stock for Remington 700 Short Action is constructed around a full billet aluminum skeleton and clad in composite or Magpul polymer. The chassis features a folding buttstock that's activated with a push button, and swings on a Melonite® finished, steel hinge. The folding stock is reversible from left to right, as is the bolt retainer plate for complete ambidextrous operation. When folded, the buttstock interferes minimally with operation of the bolt handle. The overall length of pull adjusts from 13.25"–15.125"; the butt pad height adjusts up and down, and adjusts 5° to the left or right; the comb height has a 1" range of adjustment; and the cheek riser features a 3-position fore/aft adjustment, and swaps from left to right side. The near-vertical pistol grip has .75" fore/aft adjustment for trigger reach. M-LOK™ slots on the sides and bottom of the forend and the bottom of the buttstock provide attachment points for aftermarket tactical accessories. The integrated AICS pattern magazine well is compatible with PMAG® 5 and PMAG 10 7.62 AC™ magazines as well as most other AICS pattern short-action magazines. The Pro 700 chassis stock greatly enhances the modularity of the Remington Model 700, as well as provides a stable platform to obtain precision accuracy.
