Engineered for serious riders, the Giro Coalition Spherical Full-Face Bike Helmet combines cutting-edge safety features with lightweight design. Its Spherical Technology powered by Mips allows the outer liner to rotate independently from the inner liner, reducing rotational forces during impacts. The helmet’s Progressive Layering integrates EPS and EPP foam to optimize protection against various impact speeds. The patent-pending Halo System chinbar uses Pebax material and elastomeric bushings to absorb and dissipate kinetic energy, surpassing standard chinbar deflection tests by nearly double. Ventilation is exceptional with 23 strategically placed vents and deep internal channels that promote airflow and cooling comparable to road helmets. Comfort is enhanced by DryCore sweat management brow pads, Ionic+ silver-based odor control treatments, and two sets of removable cheek pads for a tailored fit. Additional features include tool-free breakaway visor bolts with integrated Allen key receivers and a Fidlock magnetic buckle closure for secure, one-handed fastening. Certified to meet multiple safety standards including NTA, ASTM-1952-DH, ASTM-2032-BMX, CE EN1078, and AS/NZS, this helmet sets a new benchmark in lightweight full-face protection for mountain biking enthusiasts.
