A proven saltwater favorite rises to a new level of power and durability. The Daiwa BG MQ Spinning Reel incorporates Daiwa's advanced 1-piece Monocoque aluminum body, which eliminates distortion, increases power, and keeps water and salt out of the inner workings. Enhanced Digigear technology uses hardened gears that are 20%-40% larger than standard gears, and have larger teeth to maximize strength and ensure up to 3 times the durability. And whether you chase trout inshore or head out to the blue for tuna, this reel retains its BG class identity, with its light, efficient Air Rotor made of Zaion material; a quality 6+1 bearing system; and super-smooth Automatic Tournament Drag. Braid-friendly and built to withstand tough saltwater conditions, the Daiwa BG MQ represents a solid investment in fishing success.
