A high-level reel at a median price, the Daiwa Ballistic MQ LT Spinning Reel brings together some of Daiwa's best technologies and its popular Light and Tough platform to give you a smart choice for pursuing your favorite techniques. This reel is built on Daiwa's exclusive MQ body, a seamless design crafted with proprietary Zaion V carbon-fiber material, for lightweight strength, rigidity, and corrosion resistance. You'll also love the responsiveness of full Airdrive performance, which incorporates the extra-light Air Rotor, Air Bail, and all-aluminum ABS Long Cast Air Spool. MQ Tough Digigear boasts a 40% thicker gear design, resulting in greater strength and power transfer; Daiwa's Magseal technology envelops the main shaft and keeps water, sand, and salt from getting to the internals. The premier 8+1 system includes 2 CRBB and 6 stainless steel ball bearings, plus the instant anti-reverse roller bearing; equipped with carbon-rich, proven ATD Automatic Tournament Drag with plenty of run-stopping power on the business end. Built to withstand frequent use in harsh environments, the Ballistic MQ LT makes perfect sense for a wide range of species and applications.
