The AXIS P4705-PLVE panoramic network camera is designed for demanding outdoor surveillance applications requiring multidirectional coverage with high image quality. Featuring two 2 MP sensors in a compact dome housing, it provides simultaneous wide-angle and zoomed-in views through individually controllable varifocal lenses. The camera incorporates advanced imaging technologies such as AXIS Lightfinder for vivid color images in low light and Forensic WDR to balance scenes with both bright and dark areas. Its 360° IR illumination ensures clear visibility even in complete darkness. Built on the powerful ARTPEC-8 platform, the camera includes a deep learning processing unit enabling advanced analytics like human and vehicle classification directly on the device. This reduces bandwidth and storage needs while enhancing forensic search capabilities. The integrated audio input allows monitoring of sound events alongside video footage. Designed for cost-effective deployment, the P4705-PLVE requires only one IP address, cable, and video management license despite its dual sensors. Remote zoom and focus simplify installation without physical adjustments. Optional IP66/IP67 weather shields make it suitable for harsh outdoor environments. With support for multiple video codecs including MJPEG, H.264, and H.265 with Zipstream technology, it optimizes bandwidth usage without compromising image quality. This versatile camera is ideal for monitoring intersections, hallways, or large outdoor areas where comprehensive coverage is essential.
