The rod is built on a strong 1 piece tubular glass blank with an extra-strong solid fiberglass tip that gives you all the power you need for the meanest gamefish. The stainless steel guides are fitted with corrosion-resistant aluminum oxide inserts, and the strong but light graphite reel seat holds the reel securely. Slick butt sections work well with rod holders, and EVA foregrips make it easy to handle.
