Beware the Japanese version if you live in the US.
I purchased this item for my daughter for her birthday. What I received from The Discount Store seller (via Nintendo product page) was the Japanese version of this item, which looks identical to the US version, but the box and instructions are all in Japanese. The main issue here is that in order to have a valid warranty on the Nintendo Switch in the United States, it needs to be the United States version. They will not repair the Japanese version in the United States. I returned this item and bought from another seller.

I am in love!
My kids have switches and it was about time I got one for myself. The Lite is perfect for me, I love the hand held! But I do love the “blue” because to me it’s a bit on the purple side, which I love. Great functions, pleased with my self birthday gift!
